Pizza Dough

You gotta love pizza, especially a good homemade pizza. I literally can’t even eat pizza out anymore since I started making this homemade pizza dough. And not to mention, it’s WAY cheaper than pre-made pizza dough from the store and it’s super easy to make.
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
2 tsp granulated sugar
1 1/4 cup water (around 110°)
3 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbs olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour the yeast & sugar into a bowl while the water is warming up.
Make sure the water is between 105-115° in order to activate the yeast. I keep my thermometer in the water and usually pour it in when it gets to 110°.
Mix up the yeast, sugar, and warm water well. You’ll need to make sure the yeast activates. You’ll be able to tell it is activated when it looks foamy on top.
While the yeast is activating, pour 1 cup of flour, the salt, and olive oil into your mixer and mix that up.
Once the yeast is activated, pour that into the mixer and add the rest of the 2 2/3 cups of flour and continue mixing. Leave the mixer at the first or second power notch.
Once the dough is formed, get some olive oil in a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap and wait for the dough to rise.
Once the dough has risen, put it on a lightly floured surface and roll into two balls.
You can either cook your pizza now, refrigerate for 2-3 days or freeze up to 2 months.
